We held our second annual LUAU IN THE MOUNTAINS on Saturday. The weather was fine and the food and company were spectacular. WEATHER It turned and has continued to be cold and windy this week. We even got a little snow this weekend. It has all melted, but made for a touchy weekend of fishing. The weatherman is calling for continued unsettled weather. Daytime temps have been in the 50’s with nighttimes in the 30’s. One night over the weekend got down to 19. The wind is pretty stiff today.

The cold weather is retreating and giving us some nicer days. It is still chilly but the true cold is gone. Today is windy but the temps are in the 50’s. Nights are getting into the low 40’s. Pretty regular for this time of year. Next week is supposed to be even warmer.

The weather turned cold this week with temps at night in the low 20’s and daytime temps in the 40’s. We have had a bit of wind to go along with the cold temps. According to the weatherman it is supposed to stay unsettled and cold for a few more days and through the weekend. Hopefully it will then finally turn to summer and get some more regular weather patterns.

Hard to believe but the season is ready to open and we are ready to go!
DFG stocked the creeks on last Friday up to South Lake with nice fish. The snow is melting and access is getting better everyday. The flow is high with Edison continuing to work on the dam. The road is clear and should be open to beyond Parchers for the opener.

The weather has finally turned to Springtime temps with beautiful days and great nights. We are supposed to get a couple of days of cold weather towards the end of the week but then turning back to nice weather next week.

Well, winter is still with us. We had a great December for snow and it has been clear and warm for January. The watershed reports are in and South Lake is at 205% of a normal year for this time! We should have plenty of water for the summer months.

The weather has cleared up a bit with some windy periods still around but no rain. It is cloudy today but the temps have been great. Last night was 43 degrees and the daytimes have been in the hi 50’s to lo 60’s. Weatherman has called for a slight chance of showers for the weekend.
