WEATHER
The weather has been magnificent. Daytime temps have been in the hi 70’s with nights dropping to the low 50’s. The mosquitoes are still very prevalent but have calmed down a bit. We have had light afternoon breezes with blue skies and some big puffy clouds.

We had a great Fouth of July with fantastic weather, good fishing, and a wonderful fireworks show at the airport. Past employee Troy Johnson got married in a beautiful outdoor wedding on the bridge on Monday.

We held our second annual LUAU IN THE MOUNTAINS on Saturday. The weather was fine and the food and company were spectacular. We deep pit roasted a whole pig, three beef butt roasts, and a few chickens. Thanks to Jim Parker and his family from Southern Calif. we had the best tropical fruit arrangement, Calif. rolls of sushi, island shrimp skewers, and a floral bouquet beyond belief. WEATHER It turned and has continued to be cold and windy this week. We even got a little snow this weekend. It has all melted, but made for a touchy weekend of fishing. The weatherman is calling for continued unsettled weather. Daytime temps have been in the 50’s with nighttimes in the 30’s. One night over the weekend got down to 19. The wind is pretty stiff today.

The cold weather is retreating and giving us some nicer days. It is still chilly but the true cold is gone. Today is windy but the temps are in the 50’s. Nights are getting into the low 40’s. Pretty regular for this time of year. Next week is supposed to be even warmer.

The weather turned cold this week with temps at night in the low 20’s and daytime temps in the 40’s. We have had a bit of wind to go along with the cold temps. According to the weatherman it is supposed to stay unsettled and cold for a few more days and through the weekend. Hopefully it will then finally turn to summer and get some more regular weather patterns.

Hard to believe but the season is ready to open and we are ready to go!
DFG stocked the creeks on last Friday up to South Lake with nice fish. The snow is melting and access is getting better everyday. The flow is high with Edison continuing to work on the dam. The road is clear and should be open to beyond Parchers for the opener.
